The state of Colorado has shown a tremendous commitment toward cultivating innovation. Today, we’re excited to continue our own commitment toward furthering that innovation-first community.
Less than a year ago, our founders, Jim, Chris and Lawrence, set out to ignite a fire in the Denver startup scene by transforming the Rocky Mountain Banknote Building into Galvanize. “A community galvanized is an unstoppable force for innovation and co-creation,” co-founder Jim Deters.
During that time, Galvanize has housed and helped cultivate over one hundred startups. However, we’ve recognized a growing demand for stronger community, and a greater need for quality curriculum, and a call for easier access to capital. Colorado is a hotbed for future entrepreneurs, tech trailblazers, and creative, forward-thinking, driven individuals, which is why we’ve decided it is time to meet that tremendous demand.
Today we extend our Galvanize community to a second Denver location at 1644 Platte St. Known as “G2″, this four story, 78,000-square-foot building will be built from the ground up and house a collaborative workspace which is double the size of the original Delaware St. location.
For those who aren’t familiar with Galvanize, we do things a little differently here, and it usually involves taking bigger risks and making bold moves. It wouldn’t suffice just to announce one new opening, we’re also here to drop knowledge on our upcoming Boulder campus located at 1035 Pearl St.
We’ll have more information on our two new locations in the coming months, if you’re interested becoming a part of our two new communities sign up to join our unstoppable force for innovation and co-creation!
